“But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.”
— Philippians 3:7–11

Spencer Clark, Family/Youth

Spencer and Hannah Clark come to us from Knoxville, TN at the Karns Church of Christ. They both graduated from Freed-Hardeman University where Spencer completed a degree in Bible and Hannah in Psychology. He began working at Watterson Trail as an intern 2012 and began full-time work in 2013. He is currently finishing up a Master's Degree in Bible at FHU. Hannah completed her M.S. in Occupational Therapy in 2017 and is a regular children's Bible class teacher at Watterson Trail.

The aim of Spencer's work here is to build faithful families in the church and draw new ones to Christ. Through classes, activities, and relationships he hopes, with the grace of God, to establish the youth and their families in a long-term commitment to God and the church.
